Blank Wheel of Life Proforma
The Wheel of Life® (or Wellness Wheel) activity is a useful task to gain a ‘helicopter view’ of how your life currently presents or feels to you. It helps you consider each area of your life in turn and assess what's working well for you, and also what may currently be ‘off balance’.

Discover Your Purpose
Self-questioning is a powerful mindfulness activity that can illuminate your path to self-discovery. With the right questions, we can unlock valuable insights into our passions, desires, and aspirations.

10 LESSONS
1. Happiness is a project, not a destination: Don’t wait for happiness to magically appear. Take active steps to experiment, engage, explore and build habits that contribute to your well-being.
2. Know yourself: Learn more about Rubin’s Four Tendencies framework – Upholders, Obligers, Rebels. Questioners.
3. Small changes can lead to big results: Focus on making incremental improvements in various areas of your life, rather than waiting for drastic overhauls. Consistency is key.
4. Outer order contributes to inner calm: Clutter and disorganisation can drain your energy. Create systems and routines to manage your belongings and environment, leading to a sense of control and peace.

5. Gratitude is a powerful tool: Regularly acknowledging the good things in your life, big and small, shifts your perspective and fosters happiness.
6. Relationships matter: Invest time and energy in nurturing positive relationships with lovedones. Strong connections bring joy and support.

7. Your body matters: Take care of your physical health through good sleep, healthy eating and regular exercise. These habits directly impact your mood and energy levels.
8. Spend money on experiences, not things: Material possessions offer fleeting happiness, whilst experiences create lasting memories and personal growth.
9. Be willing to go off the path: Don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone and try new things. Unexpected experiences can spark joy and growth.
10. Happiness is your duty: You deserve to be happy. Take responsibility for your own well-being and actively pursue it.
BONUS: Throughout the book, Rubin emphasises the importance of self-compassion and flexibility. Don’t beat yourself up for setbacks and adjust your approach as needed. The Happiness Project is a journey, not a race.
